This is a long term 6-12 month temp booking that focuses on the purchasing of materials, components, consumables and services in order to achieve delivery on time, the lowest cost and ensuring profitability consistent with meeting the client's Customer requirements and inventory policy. You will prepare management performance reports on a monthly basis within set deadlines, this role will be split over two buying departments.
- Membership of CIPS and to be able to communicate in French is desirable although not essential.
- Employed in a similar position previous buying experience required
- Have experience of computer systems within a Purchasing/Materials Planning environment.
- Experience of operating a computerised enquiry quote and order system.
- MRP system, SAP system and PC.
