We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Housekeeping Supervisor to assist the current Housekeeping Manager at this established care home based in Brentwood Essex.
You will be working on average 36 hours per week, but rotas can be subject to change at very short notice. therefore a flexible approach will be required.
Some of the Duties will include;
To manage all aspects of Food safety and health & safety
Responsibility of ordering / stock control and a kitchen budget
supervise small team of kitchen and cleaning staff
To oversee the day to day running of housekeeping for the home
To organise staff rosters and ensure staffing levels are correct
you will need to have;
A can o attitude
a good command of written and verbal English Language
NVQ Level 2 in Food preparation or equivalent is desirable
Level 2 food hygiene qualification is desirable
Good IT skills
Have genuine interest in working with elderly people.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS clearance.
