Required for this small home that specialises in complex mental health needs and substance misuse, working age and upwards. Our client will look at an experienced candidate or an experienced nurse who is looking to take the next step in their career.
You will be working 2-3 shifts on the floor and the rest will be supernumerary time. 42 hour contract.
Main responsibilities of Deputy Home Manager role(RN):
- You will be responsible for creating and updating care plans to ensure they are accurately maintained for auditing purposes, maintaining clear, precise and up-to-date medication records for all our residents
- You will take responsibility for all aspects and areas of care within the home, whilst promoting our key values of choice, dignity and respect
- Always seeking to share your clinical knowledge and experience, you will provide valuable support to members of the home's care team, offering valuable guidance and assistance
- Creating and developing strong relationships with our customers, you will play an important role in strengthening the brand and raising the care home's profile
- Assess patient's health and well being across a complex and changing caseload
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
- Assist in maintaining and developing services
- Contribute to quality improvement
- Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights
- Work autonomously with minimum supervision
- Applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
Skills & Behaviours required for Deputy Home Manager role(RN):
- RGN or RMN or RNLD( Registered Nurse)
- Someone who shares their passion and dedication for our residents
- The ability to build a warm rapport with residents
- A natural educator with leadership experience, you will constantly look for ways to share knowledge of best practice with those around you
- A good time manager, who can prioritise effectively and work independently
- Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
- Demonstrate principles of accountable practice as a Staff Nurse - RGN or RMN
- Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
- Effective interpersonal communication and Influencing skills
- Strong business acumen as well as the ability to plan and maintain organisation
- Empathy for vulnerable and sick patients
- Passionate about importance of EO and dignity at work
