Overview for Home Manager(LD):

Due to retirement, an excellent opportunity has arisen for the position of Home Manager to join a reputable and fully compliant, 6 bedded home specialising in learning disability and complex mental health.

Skills/Requirements for Home Manager(LD):

  • Previous Home Management experience within LD is essential and a management qualification is advantageous or a willingness to work towards it
  • Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) is desirable but not essential
  • Must have a strong understanding of care service and delivery
  • You will have a sound understanding of all relevant legislation and current CQC compliances and outcomes
  • You will be responsible for safeguarding, staff management, Health & Safety, budgetary control and liaising with parents, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Strong communication skills
