Overview for Residential Home Manager:
Our well established client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Home Manager for their reputable small sized residential dementia home. You will possess strong leadership qualities and experience of dementia and running care homes. My client will also consider a Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career. You will ideally possess a NVQ Level 5 or willing to work towards it.
Skills/Requirements for Residential Home Manager:
- Previous Care Home experience within a dementia and elderly care environment
- IT skills and marketing/business awareness
- You will have a sound understanding of all relevant legislation and current CQC compliances and outcomes
- Must have a strong understanding of care service and delivery within a nursing home
- You will be responsible for safeguarding, staff management, Health & Safety, budgetary control and liaising with parents, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
- Strong communication and managerial skills
