Role - Legal Secretary

Salary - £20-25k


Our client, a highly reputable and recognised law firm in Tunbridge Wells. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Legal Secretary to work within their property division.

They want someone who has previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally candidate would also have had experience working in Property sector.

This will be an ideal opportunity for Legal Secretary looking for a challenging role within a great team working for a prestigious law firm


The legal secretary will be expected to support a variety of property related caseload, duties will include but not limited to: -

  • Assisting on a mixed caseload of a variety of transaction
  • Opening files and new matters on Case Management
  • Preparing client care letters and service plans
  • Preparing and drafting correspondence and precedent documents for fee earners
  • Submitting searches and preparing reports
  • Carrying out priority searches
  • Preparing completion statements
  • Land Registry applications and dealing with completions and post completion

The Candidate

They ideally would like a Legal Secretary with the following skills and experience:

  • Legal Secretarial experience within Property sector
  • Experience of using case management system
  • Strong and efficient administration skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised with a professional attitude
