Temporary Manual Labour - Handyperson Lewes

We require a Temporary Handyperson for our client based in Lewes.
Duties will include responsibility for ensuring routine and emergency accessibility to the site including during adverse weather; Carrying out security procedures for buildings and grounds in accordance with policy; Contacting appropriate services in the event of emergencies; Assisting with enquiries from officers and employees, workmen and contractors, and reporting their presence as required; Directing contractors to the site of repair/maintenance work ensuring they are accompanied unless Lone Working has been authorised; Inspecting, monitoring and recording work performance of contractors under your control; Notifying the nominated officer and responsible persons, where appropriate, of the necessity for any repairs or maintenance; Managing cleaning staff and ensuring that the cleaning meets the required standards; Non-specialist building maintenance work, e.g. plumbing, glazing, carpentry, decorating etc.; Understanding of the service sufficiently in order to undertake daily tasks and checks; Undertaking meter readings and recording; Waste removal; Accepting deliveries of stores, materials and other goods and conveying to appropriate areas; Adequate supplies of caretaking requirements and cleaning materials and keep records; Removing faulty equipment; Moving furniture and equipment as required; Floor treatment work.
This is a temporary role commencing mid-September.
