An established leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke advanced process plant equipment are looking for either a graduate or experienced Workshop Engineer to join their highly skilled engineering team within the manufacturing facility.
Job duties for this position include general erection and disassembly of process plant equipment, assisting with sub system bench build and equipment testing including configuration and calibration, manual lathe and milling responsibilities. The successful candidate will need to ideally come from a maintenance/mechanical engineering background and have some understanding of vacuum, water cooling pipework and pneumatics systems.
A minimum qualification of a BTEC in Advanced Mechanical Engineering or similar is essential. There would be an opportunity for 'fast track' progression to a supervisory position along with opportunities for worldwide overseas travel. Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.
