Hours: 48 per week 4 x 12 hour shifts (6am to 6pm x 2 weeks 6pm to 6am x 2 weeks)
Salary: £9.38 per hour plus 15% shift allowance - (£26,996 p/a)
5 weeks holiday plus statutory holidays

This role is based within a local Manufacturing company. Working as part of the Moulding
Team you will be required to take a lead role in the co-ordination and delivery of your allocated Shift. This will include taking a lead role in the setting-up and operation of Moulding production equipment, machinery and the completion of associated processes to ensure delivery of the required output to meet all operational goals and schedule demands.
♦ To operate manufacturing equipment to produce products to meet scheduled demand
♦ To work co-operatively with your colleagues and Team
♦ Support the effective planning, co-ordination and delivery of required production output
♦ To ensure the required quality of output is delivered and customer satisfaction is maintained
♦ To work safely within the manufacturing environment and across the business
♦ To take responsibility for Site un-lock / lock-up and Shift start-up and shut-down procedures
Experience within the following areas would be required:
♦ Previous experience in an Injection Moulding / Production Team environment
♦ Demonstrable knowledge of appropriate manufacturing processes and associated technology
♦ Experience of setting, operating and troubleshooting a wide range of production machinery and equipment
♦ Ability to hold and apply knowledge on a broad product range, material use and associated equipment
♦ Working to within quality management systems and procedures
♦ Appropriate health and safety experience / training within a manufacturing environment
♦ An NVQ at level 2 in Performing Manufacturing Operations or similar
