5 years defined benefit industry experience with third party administrator
PMI - DipPMI or QPA qualified
The senior administrator is responsible for a small team of administrators. Checking and prioritising all day to day administration, pensioner payroll and administration related projects.
Routine annual administration
Annual renewal for schemes with active members. Requesting data from clients, updating system and producing annual benefit statements.
Annual pension increases.
Maintaining and reviewing the Impending Retirement list.
Completion of the GMP NICO reconciliation project.
Providing back-up data to auditors for scheme accounts.
Day to day administration
Managing the worklog and prioritising all administration. Reporting any problems or potential backlogs to senior management.
Overseeing and checking all monthly pension increases, new pensioners and updates to tax codes on pensioner payroll.
Checking / calculating all day to day requests for leavers, joiners, retirements and transfers out.
Maintaining Standard Letters
Regularly reviewing and maintaining standard letters/spreadsheets. Reviewing for best practice and consistency. Making recommendations to senior management for updates and improvements.
Well organised. First class skills at defined benefit administration prioritising. Excellent time keeper. Team player but able to lead by example.
