Our client's Pensions Operations Teams based in Lewes deliver administration services to a number of external partners under commercial agreements and as the Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the operational teams deliver services set out in the partnership agreements within agreed cost envelopes. You will be responsible for delivering any of the pension's administration services provided by this company to any of its partners, though site management will be of the Lewes team.
You will plan, lead and review the work of the Operations Teams responsible for delivering an end to end pensions administration service to its customers across your company and other partners. Our client is looking for someone who is comfortable leading by example, and with excellent communication skills and the ability to work and build strong working relationships with stakeholders whilst contributing to continuous evolution in quality and scope of services provided. You will represent Pension Services at Local Pension Boards and Committees, as well as regional and national groups and promote the benefits of operating in a partnership environment. This role is based in Lewes but there will be occasional travel required to customer sites, as well as to the two other company sites in Kingston and Brighton.
This role is strategic, as well as operational as you will provide overall guidance to junior managers in terms of planning, meeting service standards and fully utilising resources, as well as closely monitoring performance meets the various service level agreements. Using a range of people management techniques, you will lead, develop and performance manage members of the team that provides a full administration service, securing resources to ensure the delivery of a high quality professional service to customers and partners which builds the reputation of the Business Operations service.
Although this role involves working as part of a well-supported team you will be given the tools to work independently and flexibly as the business needs to allow you to deliver work to a high standard
