This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join an established business based in Hailsham.
Salary: £23-26k (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Core Activities, Duties and Key Tasks
Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day accounts of the business including:
- Reconciling bank accounts in multiple currencies
- Petty cash
- Credit control
- Managing cash flow
- Purchase payments
- Monthly VAT submission
- Weekly payroll
- Producing commission reports
- Monthly management accounts
- Ideally you will be AAT qualified or have demonstrable accounts experience
- Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll, MS Excel and Outlook required
- Excellent numerical and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
