Job Description

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer (C++) on a contract basis.

You must be a Software Development Engineer who has demonstrable skills in software engineering across the lifecycle. The successful candidate will have experience of the C++ programming language, specifically in developing Windows based applications. Experience of GUI development using modern C++ software development techniques and tools (Embarcadero C++Builder or Embarcadero Delphi and/or other C/C++) is highly desirable. Additional skills in migrating C code to C++ code, XML and embedded application development would be beneficial.

The successful candidate must have good team working and interpersonal skills and be able to show their technical knowledge can be applied successfully to achieve good quality output.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a project development team
  • Develop good quality C++ code from the design & existing C code base
  • Undertake software integration and testing
  • Produce technical documentation to support the software lifecycle
  • Education/Experience

Required Education & Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).

The successful candidate will be subject to security clearance.
