An established manufacturing company need an experienced Stores person to ensure the smooth running of the picking and packing of orders from customers (both internal and external). Duties would include handling, recording and storing stock, picking, recording the stock and loading stock leaving the warehouse. In addition you would be arranging shipping of the stock with agents, dealing with general administration of goods in and out of the warehouse and monitoring stock levels. Ideally you would have experience working in logistics with a knowledge of raw metal materials. You would be manually handling up to 25 kgs on a regular basis, so this role would require someone to be physically fit. The ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision and to take responsibility for filling orders will be required along with excellent communication and IT skills.
