A varied and interesting opportunity has arisen with a forward thinking organisation for a Junior Web Developer / Designer to work within marketing.
The position would ideally suit a well organised trainee with 3 years + experience in a comparable role, relevant skills and the ability to work well under pressure, working to tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and a good telephone manner are essential requirements along with high proficiency in the use of Photoshop, illustrator and InDesign (Adobe Cloud).
- An intermediate understanding of HTML5/CSS is required.
- Ability to design professional literature and presentation material at a high level.
- Aptitude and past experience of the business environment is vital.
- Technical design skills in CAD would be an advantage.
Printing advertising material: Business cards, brochures, advertisements, posters, banners and flyers.
Assisting with digital material design including web, social and digital adverts.
Maintaining and update the website (WordPress).
Produce and update current PowerPoint Presentations.
Assist with implementation of Email Campaigns as and when required
In house video editing as and when required
Deliver fresh design ideas in keeping with the company brand, keeping abreast of latest design trends and advise accordingly
Develop product and market knowledge to assist promotions
Liaise with outside companies as and when required - be it face to face, phone or by email.
