Role briefing – where possible we will set up an onsite meeting which gives us an opportunity to see your offices and familiarise ourselves with factors such as access by road/public transport; culture and environment. Alternatively we will look to arrange a conference call to discuss the role, key challenges, fit within team/wider organisation, longer-term opportunity as well as the type of skills you are seeking both technical and personal.
We will agree a realistic timeframe to ensure that we are working in line with your expectations.

Database Search – our database has been established over 25 years and is being continually updated on a daily basis as we proactively talent-pool individuals across the industry. This approach ensures we are not just speaking with actively looking candidates, but are also approaching passive candidates or those who are not necessarily looking for a career move at this time. We are able to target candidates in your specific location as well as those willing to relocate. We approach potentially relevant candidates to brief them fully on the position, providing detailed information packs as appropriate.
Targeted Advertising – we are able to utilise a number of channels to target potential individuals, both specific pensions-related jobsites and more generic; in the printed press; via social media such as LinkedIn individual consultant posts and our own specific group - click here. We are able to work with you to produce company branded adverts for your approval and sign off. The cost of setting and running any adverts in the agreed pensions industry press is undertaken by Sammons Pensions, and no additional charges for contingency based recruitment will be incurred by the Client whenever they retain Sammons Pensions on a sole agency basis.
Recommendations - Sammons Pensions' established presence in the pensions arena means we are constantly in contact with industry professionals, across in-house pensions teams to third party administration providers and consultancies. Our rapport with clients and candidates means we can contact relevant pensions professionals at any time for advice and guidance. Senior contacts are able to provide us with recommendations of other top industry professionals. Junior contacts are able to suggest peers or former colleagues.
Executive Search & Selection, Head-Hunting - Sammons Pensions has a comprehensive database containing information on every company pension scheme and pensions provider in the United Kingdom. Sammons Pensions consultants will contact all companies with potential candidates for the role who are within commuting distance. Sammons Pensions will also contact organisations across the United Kingdom, with potentially similar individuals who may be willing to relocate.
CV Submission – we present a shortlist for your review. Each CV includes current and expected remuneration, locations and notice period, as well as a detailed consultant summary, based on a thorough interview undertaken with the candidate to encompass skills, experience, achievements, aspirations and suitability.
Client Interviews – we coordinate these and undertake interview prebriefs with the candidates to ensure that they are as fully prepared as possible for their meetings.
Feedback – we proactively seek and share this at each stage of the recruitment process, whether there are factors in the job profile that are hindering candidates from applying or at CV submission through to interview stage. We ensure that relevant feedback is shared with candidates as this is typically a frustration for unsuccessful candidates who are keen to still receive feedback to help them in future applications.
Offer Stage – our fully trained consultants draw on extensive experience in well-structured offer management to proactively help each party to reach a successful outcome. By ensuring a thorough initial role briefing with you, and comprehensive interview with the prospective candidate we are able to accurately match job opportunity with candidate career aspirations and minimises potential risk of counter –offer acceptance

Fees – unless specifically agreed we will never charge a fee until our candidate has successfully commenced employment with you.
